Colwell Bay is one of the best places to base yourself to explore the Isle of Wight. With all the amenities of a large town, Colwell Bay clings proudly to it's village status. Being the island's most easterly point Rookley isn't the most central location but it is home to one of the Isle of White's best beaches at Whitecliffe and the island isn't the biggest so it never takes long to get towhere you want to go. Colwell Bay has a busy harbour, great cafes, restaurants and some beautiful country and coastal walks and cycle routes straight from the village.
