Open all year, the pet-friendly Riverview Holiday Park in the Scottish Borders is set within the rural serenity of rolling countryside overlooked by medieval towers and dotted with ancient villages and is within one of the the UK’s largest dark sky areas with start gazing at the Keilder Observatory which is close to the holiday park.
At Riverview you can own a luxury holiday lodge with waterside and country views for much less than a holiday lodge in Cumbria or a holiday lodge in Northumberland and enjoy easy access to all the same attractions.
Just a 20 minute walk from the park is the quaint village of Newcastleton. This is where you will find artisan shops, cafes, a pub, restaurant, bank, butchers and grocers - there is even a small museum dedicated to local culture and history.

Set in a stunning countryside location with riverside views. All Riverview Holiday Homes are built by leading manufacturers to the highest specification with modern fixtures, fittings and interior decor. All the holiday homes are fully sited and are fully furnished. The park only have 2 new holiday homes left for sale each having two bedrooms. The site fees (which include water, rates and VAT) are just £2,500 a year and for the remainder of 2025, there are no site fees to pay.

The Scottish Borders is a place of rolling hills, pine forests and countless rivers for fishing. The salmon season runs from the 1st of April to the 31st of October and sea trout up to September 30th. There are many castle ruins and ancient monuments to visit and if you like being active, there are many hiking and biking trails close to Riverview Holiday Park. Here you will find a huge range of opportunities for exploration on foot and by bike. Adventure activities are available within Riverview’s immediate locality and make for exciting family days out. Fishing can be enjoyed onsite and in local waters including those of a vast woodland lake.
