It's intentionally a quiet park to make the very most of the surroundings and the facilities are low-key but of the highest quality. The cafe and picnic area have recently been refurbished and there's a playground and communal room with pool room and dartboard for the children. Day fishing tickets are available from the park shop. Allensford Holiday Park is incredibly friendly with a real sense of community amongst their owners, just as you'd expect in the North East!

Allensford is a really peaceful, welcoming park perfect for families and couples looking for a country escape. It's a real community park where neighbours quickly becoming friends, just what you'd expect from a holiday park in Co. Durham! It also makes for a great dog holiday with some great walks around the 5 acre woodland site and at the nearby nature reserve.
