Dining Out

Saint Emilion is famous for its macaroons that are still made in the traditional way that dates back to the 17th century during the time of the Ursuline nuns. However, the local cuisine is far more extensive than biscuits, with the culinary delights of the Gironde on offer plus the world famous Saint Emilion wines.

From seafood to meat, dining out or having a BBQ in your Saint Emilion holiday rental is an experience you won't forget. Some specialities include oysters from the Bay of Arcachon with a crisp dry white Graves, king prawns from the Medoc and Pauillac lamb.
